Chhorii 2: A New Chapter in Horror
The much-anticipated trailer for Chhorii 2, the sequel to the 2021 horror sensation Chhorii, has just been released, hinting at an even more thrilling supernatural journey ahead.
Nushrratt Bharuccha takes on a powerful new role in this film, which delves into the grim realities of folklore, gender inequality, and a mother's fierce love for her daughter. The trailer begins with a spine-chilling story narrated by Nushrratt's character, recounting a kingdom where a furious king commands his servant to eliminate his newborn daughter.
As the narrative unfolds, viewers are treated to heart-pounding scenes showcasing Nushrratt's desperate fight to shield her daughter from the malevolent servant, portrayed by Soha Ali Khan, along with other sinister forces that endanger their lives.
Soha's striking transformation in the trailer has already intrigued audiences. Directed by Vishal Furia, who also directed the first installment, Chhorii 2 aims to enhance the horror genre with a captivating mix of terror, suspense, and social critique. The film is scheduled for a global release on April 11 and features Gashmeer Mahajani, Saurabh Goyal, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Sareen, and Hardika Sharma in significant roles.
